Join Us at the ABA Service Providers Job Fair: Explore Careers in ABA Therapy

Are you passionate about helping children, making a meaningful impact in your community, and starting a rewarding career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? If so, ABA Service Providers invites you to our upcoming Job Fair, where we’re hiring for multiple positions, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This is a unique opportunity for those who want to join a supportive, mission-driven team and embark on a fulfilling career in the field of behavior therapy.

But that’s not all. For those fresh out of high school or looking for a career change, the ABA Service Providers Job Fair offers a chance to get your foot in the door and start a new career that is both impactful and rewarding. You don’t need a college degree to apply—just a passion for helping others and a genuine desire to work with children.

Why ABA Therapy? A Career with Meaning

At ABA Service Providers, we specialize in providing evidence-based behavior therapy to children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). ABA therapy helps children develop crucial life skills, improve communication, and reduce challenging behaviors. As a part of our team, you’ll play a key role in transforming lives, helping children build independence, and giving families the support they need to thrive.

Working in ABA therapy is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a direct impact on the future of a child. Whether you’re working one-on-one with a child as an RBT or taking a leadership role as a BCBA, you’ll be part of a team that works tirelessly to improve the lives of children and their families.

ABA Service Providers is a recognized leader in ABA therapy in the Decatur area, known for providing high-quality, personalized care to clients. We are dedicated to training and developing new RBTs and fostering a strong, supportive community for them to thrive in their careers. If you’ve been thinking about starting a career in ABA therapy, this is the place to do it. We’re hiring RBTs with no previous experience—training is provided!

RBTs and BCBAs: The Heart of ABA Therapy

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are crucial to the success of ABA therapy. As an RBT, you’ll work directly with children, implementing therapy plans developed by a BCBA. You’ll help children learn new skills, reinforce positive behaviors, and collect data on their progress. Working with children in this capacity is both a challenge and a reward, and it requires dedication, patience, and empathy.

Why RBTs Are Important

RBTs play an essential role in the ABA therapy process. They provide the hands-on, individualized attention that children need to progress in their therapy. Without RBTs, it would be difficult for the structured programs designed by BCBAs to be effectively implemented. RBTs help children practice and generalize new skills, and they are often the people clients and their families connect with most often.

At ABA Service Providers, we believe in supporting and growing our RBTs. We’re offering paid training for individuals without previous experience, so even if you’re new to the field, you can become part of our impactful work in the Decatur area. We’re excited to train new RBTs and support their growth as they work toward certification.

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

If you’re already a BCBA or have your certification in progress, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level. BCBAs are responsible for creating individualized treatment plans, supervising RBTs, and ensuring that clients are receiving the highest quality of care. As a BCBA, you’ll work closely with families and clients to set goals and track progress, ensuring that each child’s therapy plan is personalized and effective.

This leadership role is perfect for professionals who are looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in the ABA field. You’ll have the opportunity to mentor RBTs, collaborate with other clinical staff, and continuously grow as a professional through ongoing training and support.

Opportunity for Those “Out of High School” Looking for a New Career

Not everyone is ready for college right after high school, and that’s perfectly okay! At the ABA Service Providers Job Fair, we’re offering opportunities for young people who may be looking for a meaningful career that doesn’t require a traditional four-year degree. If you have a passion for working with children, enjoy helping others, and have an interest in learning a new skill, ABA therapy could be the perfect career for you.

As an RBT, you’ll receive paid training that will set you up for success. This is an ideal entry point into the world of ABA therapy, and many of our RBTs go on to earn additional certifications or move into leadership roles, such as BCBA. Whether you’re fresh out of high school or just looking to change careers, this is a great way to start a job where you can make a difference every day.

What It Takes to Be Part of the Team

While formal education and experience are important, there are some essential qualities that we look for in all of our team members:

A Passion for Children

First and foremost, you need to love working with children. ABA therapy is all about improving the lives of children, and it requires individuals who can build trusting relationships and create a positive, nurturing environment for them to grow. If you have a natural ability to connect with children and find joy in seeing their progress, you’re likely to excel in this field.

An Inclination Toward Childcare and Helping Others

It’s not just about teaching children skills; it’s about providing care, compassion, and emotional support. Whether you’re working with children with autism or helping them navigate everyday tasks, a genuine desire to help others is key.

Patience, Empathy, and Dedication

ABA therapy can be challenging, especially when working with children who may experience frustrations or setbacks. The ability to remain patient, empathetic, and dedicated to the child’s progress is essential.

The Job Fair: A Great First Step

The ABA Service Providers Job Fair is the perfect opportunity to learn more about what we do, meet our team, and explore career opportunities.
