Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (would consider a student analyst) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and improve the quality of life for those you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to address challenging behaviors and teach functional skills.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide support and training on behavior management techniques.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members involved in client care.
  • Stay current with best practices in the field of behavior analysis through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Strong understanding of patient care principles and ethical guidelines in behavior analysis.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Prior experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
